Privacy Policy
We built this site to answer to readers instead of advertisers. That shows up here too: there is very little to disclose, because we collect very little.

The short version. We do not use cookies. We do not run analytics. We do not host advertising or tracking pixels. The only personal information we ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe — we use it to send you what you signed up for, and for nothing else. We never sell, rent, or share it.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you submit it through a subscribe form on this site. Nothing else is requested, and no other field is required.
- Ordinary server request data — when any browser loads any website, the server receives the request. Our host records standard technical details (IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp) to deliver pages and defend against abuse. We do not build profiles from this and we do not link it to subscribers.
We do not ask for your name, your location, your pet's records, or payment details. We do not sell anything, so we have no payment system and no order history.
What we don't do
- No cookies. This site sets none. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no page-view tracking of any kind.
- No advertising or tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no ad networks, no retargeting, no third-party trackers.
- No selling or sharing. Your email is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to a manufacturer, advertiser, or data broker.
- No manufacturer money. We take no sponsorships, commissions, or paid placement — so no brand ever receives your information or influences what you see.
Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data only to provide their service to us.
- Beehiiv — our email platform. If you subscribe, your email address is stored there and used to send you our newsletter.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website, and handles the ordinary server request data described above.
- DigitalOcean Spaces — stores and serves our video files. Loading a video sends a request to that service the same way loading any page sends one to a web server.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, it is removed from our active list. Server request data is retained only for the short operational window our host keeps logs.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You never have to ask us.
- Access or deletion — write to hello@tailandtonic.co and we will tell you what we hold about you, or delete it, whichever you ask for.
- Do Not Track — we do not track, so there is nothing for the signal to switch off.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific statutory rights over your personal information. Whatever your jurisdiction, we will honour an access or deletion request sent to the address above.
Children
This site is intended for adults caring for pets. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has subscribed, write to us and we will remove the address.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant and you are a subscriber, we will tell you by email rather than expecting you to notice.
