Choose: One-Time Purchase or Subscribe

Most supplements and consumables at Tail & Tonic are available for a single purchase or as a recurring subscription. On any eligible product page, select your quantity and subscribe for monthly delivery.

Our subscription program is designed to reward committed pet parents rather than one-click signups. Subscribers pay the standard retail price during the first four calendar months. At the five-month anniversary of the subscription, we post a retroactive credit equal to 15% of every order placed in that window, plus 100% of the shipping paid during those months — applied automatically to the next renewal. From the six-month anniversary onward, subscribers receive a 15% discount plus free shipping on every renewal order. The full timeline is explained below under "How Subscriptions Work."

You can mix and match: subscribe to the products your pet uses every day, and order others one-time when you want to try something new.

Check Out Simply and Securely

Our checkout is powered by Shopify — the same platform trusted by millions of online stores worldwide. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored by us. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Orders of $100 or more ship free automatically — no code required. For smaller orders, shipping is calculated at checkout based on product weight and cart total, and we keep shipping proportionate to what you're ordering.

Once your order is placed, you'll receive a confirmation email immediately. Keep it — it contains your order number, which you'll use if you ever need to contact us about a shipment.

We Fulfill From a Vetted Supplier Network

Tail & Tonic ships through a network of vetted fulfillment suppliers. Our primary supplement supplier is based in the United States, so supplements ship from domestic warehouses. Our accessories supplier network is global — some accessory items may ship from international warehouses, and when that is the case it is factored into the delivery estimate on the product page.

When you place an order, it routes to the appropriate warehouse and is picked, packed, and shipped on your behalf. This model lets us offer a wide range of quality products without holding inventory ourselves, which means we can pass better pricing on to you and keep our catalog current as the pet wellness space evolves.

Processing time: 1–3 business days.
Standard U.S. shipping on supplements: 5–10 business days after processing.

Current shipping region: United States only. International customer expansion is planned for a future phase.

Track It, Then Try It

When your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Use it to follow your package through to delivery. If tracking doesn't update within a reasonable window or the package appears lost, contact us at hello@tailandtonic.co and we'll make it right.

Once your order arrives, give your pet a few days to adjust, especially if it's a new supplement type. Most pet health supplements work best when given consistently over time — the labels will tell you the recommended daily serving size and how to introduce them.

We Stand Behind Every Order

Every order carries our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. No questions asked. Full refund to your original payment method.

If a product isn't the right fit for your pet within 30 days of delivery, email hello@tailandtonic.co with your order number and a photo of the product. We do not require you to ship anything back — keep it, finish it, or donate it. Your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days.

One condition only: the product must be less than 75% consumed at the time of the refund request. An empty container isn't a return — it's a consumed product.

You shouldn't have to fight for a fair outcome when you took a chance on something for your pet. We want every Tail & Tonic customer to feel confident coming back.


How Subscriptions Work

Tail & Tonic subscriptions are managed through Seal Subscriptions, a trusted Shopify subscription platform. Our subscription program is built around earned loyalty — you prove the product fits your pet before you earn the ongoing reward. Subscriptions deliver monthly, with timing based on calendar months from the date of your first subscription order.

Here is the timeline, in plain language:

The first four months. You pay the standard retail price on every renewal order that arrives during this window. You are trying the product, proving the fit for your pet, and demonstrating commitment to the subscription.

At your five-month anniversary. We post a credit to your account equal to 15% of every order you placed during the first four months, plus 100% of the shipping you paid during those months. The credit applies automatically to your next renewal order — which, depending on your cadence, can be free or nearly free.

From that point forward. You receive a 15% discount on every renewal order for as long as your subscription remains active, plus free shipping on every subscription order.

You'll receive a reminder email before each renewal, so you're never caught off guard. Through your customer account, you can:

— Skip an upcoming delivery
— Pause your subscription for as long as you need (pausing freezes your five-month anniversary clock — the clock picks up where it left off when you resume)
— Change the product or quantity
— Cancel entirely at any time, no questions asked, no penalty

There is no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee. Cancelling before your five-month anniversary simply means you forfeit the retroactive credit and the ongoing benefits — not a punishment, just the natural consequence of leaving before the reward kicks in.

Subscriber Shipping Loyalty Program

For the first four calendar months of your subscription, standard shipping rates apply to every renewal order. At the five-month anniversary of your subscription, we credit 100% of the shipping you paid during that window back to your account. From that point forward, you receive free shipping on every subscription order for as long as your subscription remains active.

Pausing your subscription freezes the five-month anniversary clock — the clock picks up where it left off when you resume. If you cancel before reaching the five-month anniversary, the shipping credit is forfeited.

Our Fulfillment Model

Tail & Tonic operates on a dropship fulfillment model, which means we partner with established suppliers rather than warehousing products ourselves. When you place an order, it is fulfilled directly by our supplier network on our behalf.

When that applies to a specific item, it is reflected in the delivery estimate on the product page so you know what to expect before you check out.

This model is how we keep our prices fair and our catalog flexible. It has no impact on the quality, packaging, or product condition of your order — only on delivery time for select accessory items.
